Laughing Buddha started in 2009, in a dorm room in Sydney, Australia while I was pursuing my MBA as a online platform for the multigenerational family business in Kathmandu, Nepal. Initially started under alias, www.hulaki.com and mostly catering to Nepalis living abroad to send gifts to friends and family in Nepal. Soon found ourselves in a crowded Nepali online gift sending sites.

Having our own huge selection of imports of household products it seemed necessary to focus on our own products. Hence, began the quest of Laughing Buddha. Although the name was too long to type on the browser, Laughing Buddha was a sticky name and very obvious to reflect the products that we were selling manufactured in China.

Today Laughing Buddha sells products ranging from kitchenware, furnitures, baby products, health and fitness, pet products, bags, Car accessories, BBQ, Baking products, plastic wares, cleaning products, decors, outdoor and leisure and more. Laughing Buddha continues to introduce new products to Nepali market that raises eyebrows.
